Re: leaking carburetor

This is a follow-up post from my previous ones regarding my leaking carburetor.
Bob Kachergius at Uni Tech Management Systems produced a beautifully overhauled carburetor for me. Installed it a month ago and several test flights have been flawless. You may reach him at 708 – 267 – 7111.

My first guess is float is in need of adjusting. Perhaps dirty needle valve. I will appreciate suggestions. Than...

Re: propeller hub, continental tapered, 65, 75, 80, 85

Hello Doug. Your new hub is successfully installed on my Champ. Everyone at Princeton airport, including the IA, were impressed by its quality construction. We also appreciate your references and important regulatory data and suggested logbook entries. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Jim ...

3745 paper shaft prop hub

Hello.
I am looking for a 3745 tapered shaft prop hub for my Continental 75 hp in my 7 AC Champ. Mine is cracked and unserviceable. I believe the same hub is employed in the 65 to 90 hp engines. All advice gratefully received.

I wish to accept your offer of examining your hub, and agree to your conditions. Please advise with spe...

Re: seized spark plug

Al, Paul, I really appreciate your help. Some followup questions? Who makes the aluminum bronze inserts? How snug do they need to be when screwed into the cylinder? Obviously the dowel pin has to line up with a groove in the insert. Do you use Lock-Tite on the threads? You referred to the Continenta...
